Since its inception in 1999, The Foundation for Positively Kids has become Southern Nevada's central resource center for medically dependent children and their families, providing an array of services and programs to meet their needs. Positively Kids dedicates all available time, resources and donations to the medically fragile children living in the Las Vegas community. We thank our staff, volunteers, nurses and donors most importantly who help make Las Vegas a better place to live.

Nearly 1 in 6 children are challenged by a variety of serious medical conditions such as genetic abnormalities, traumatic injuries, autism, orthopedic obstacles, cardiac peril and numerous other catastrophic illnesses.
The purpose and commitment of The Foundation for Positively Kids is to provide an environment in every medical area of the lives of the children we serve that will have a positive effect on the child's growth and development.
- Help medically fragile children reach their full potential
- Promote comfort and improve quality of life
- Provide each child with a physical and developmental assessment as well as an assessment of the psychosocial needs of the family unit
- Develop an individualized, interdisciplinary plan of care based upon the assessed needs of the child and the family
